Seeds :-
Farm-Mandi Group delivers its customers only with seeds of highest quality standards. Sorting out seed lots is an important first step after reception of the seed. All undesired parts, such as plant parts, soil parts, broken seed, damaged seed, dust and weed seeds are removed in the pre-cleaner. After pre-cleaning, the seed is moved to the fine-cleaner and to de-stoner where soil and heavier particles are removed. Grading is carried out to remove all undersized seeds, only right size seeds will be collected. If required Seeds are passed through seed sizer to ensure right size of the seeds. The seeds are further processed through the gravity separator to eliminate the dull and light weight seeds. Also, non matured seeds that of right size but light weight are also removed in this process, resulting in a high quality seeds.
Pesticides :-
The term pesticide covers a wide range of compounds including insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, rodenticides, molluscicides, nematicides, plant growth regulators and others.
Among these, organochlorine (OC) insecticides, used successfully in controlling a number of diseases, such as malaria and typhus. It improves productivity, Protection of crop losses/yield reduction, Vector disease control, Quality of food.
Input material at the beginning of farming cycle is the most important aspect
that determines the quality and volume of the output - hence the income and
livelihood of the farmer. Serious gaps in the agri-input value chain exist due
to demand and supply mismatch, substandard locally manufactured products,
duplication, adulteration, and black-marketing of key products.
Fertilizers :-
A fertilizer is a material of natural or synthetic origin applied to soil or the growth of plant tissues to supply one or more plant nutrients essential to develop a plant and its yield. This yield gap can be explained by different reasons, including farmers’ limited access to inputs (e.g., quality of seeds, adequate water supply, right kind of minerals). Most soils have an abundance of the mineral elements required for growth. However, occasionally some details are not readily available. Soil needs the application of fertilizers to fulfill the need for those missing soil minerals. In their absence, crop yield will sooner or later approach the minimum level. It will reduce both the return on a farmers' investment and the resulting food supply.
Farming Equipment:-
Equipment repair and parts: Fixes broken equipment, or sources parts for self-service.
Equipment sourcing and sales: Provides farmers access to essential machinery.
Equipment rental: Leases equipment for predetermined jobs or intervals.
Equipment shares: Splits ownership of common, but less-used equipment amongst a cooperative.
Equipment contractors: Machinery owners perform tasks on a single job basis.
Weather reports:-
The SMS services are meant for any farmer across the country who registers to us.
Farm-Mandi also launched an SMS-based alert system for general public for dissemination of weather and disaster-related (cyclone, severe weather storms, heavy rains) information. Under this round-the-clock web-based operational system, the our system send SMS to individuals who would register to us for this purpose. Besides giving information about natural calamities, the system will also suggest what action needs to be taken.
Cropping pattern:-
Cropping pattern refers to the proportion of land under cultivation of different crops at different points of time. This indicates the time and arrangement of crops in a particular land area. Any change in the cropping pattern would cause:

change in space sequence and time of crops
In India, the cropping pattern is determined by rainfall, temperature, climate, technology and soil type.

It is important to optimize crop production, to protect the environment from contamination by runoff and leaching of excess fertilizers, to aid in the diagnosis of plant culture problems, to improve the nutritional balance of the growing media and to save money and conserve energy by applying only the amount of fertilizer needed.

Crop Insurance:-
Crop insurance makes up the loss or damage to growing crops resulting from a spread of causes like hail or drought frost, flood and disease. The cultivators pay a premium and protection is given to them on an equivalent basis as in other insurance.
All farmers growing notified crops in notified areas as notified by the State government are eligible for availing insurance. Crops of loanee farmers are compulsorily insured, while non- loanee farmers can insure their crops at their option.
There are two major types of crop insurance:
- Multiple peril crop insurance (MPCI)
- Crop-hail insurance.
Finance & Agri output:-
Agri Output is cumulative result of nature’s bounty and farmers ingenuity and
hard work even so, unfortunately that does not always translate to deserving
monetary rewards for the farmer.
Variety of “middlemen” and logistical hurdles become serious impediments
between Farmers and high-paying Institutional Buyers, resulting in lack of
price transparency for farmer, price increase at both ends due to multiple
handling, as well as post-harvest losses. In this process farmers do not
receive good farm gate prices for their produce.
There is tremendous scope of technology-enabled disruption and
